INFANT
Congratulations on the birth of your little one! When your child is
baptized he or she will become part of the Christian family of brothers
and sisters of Christ. We, at Our Lady of Fatima Parish pledge to
surround your child with our care and love, and pledge to assist you in
the challenging task of helping your child discover the richness of
Jesus Christ in whose image we are all made.
We invite you to contact the Parish as
soon as possible so that the Parish Baptism Preparation Team can discuss
the preparations with you. It is usual for there to be a 6 - 8 week
period between registration and celebration to allow for preparation of
parents and sponsors/godparents.
Baptisms are normally celebrated monthly (excluding Advent and
Lent) in a communal ceremony held on a Sunday.
