OF SPECIAL INTEREST / EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BECOME CATHOLIC? Please invite them to take part in our RCIA sessions this fall. “Becoming Catholic” involves two things:
(1) Being prepared to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation) and (2) Learning to live the faith in our daily life. Our RCIA Team and the whole parish community will journey with them towards those goals. RCIA stands for “Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults”.
Weekly sessions from October to May provide an opportunity for learning about our faith and growing in relationship to God in a small group setting. Candidates will be prepared to receive the Sacraments which will be celebrated during the Easter Vigil (the Saturday night service before Easter).
