      THANK YOU FOR YOUR WEEKLY SUNDAY OFFERINGS! We are grateful for your continued support of the parish. Many parishioners have taken advantage of our new Pre-Authorized Monthly Donation Plan. For your convenience, you can now make your contributions using Visa, MasterCard, Debit or Pre-Authorized Withdrawal. If you would like to set up an automatic monthly contribution (processed the 30th of each month), simply complete the Monthly Enrolment Form and return it to the Office. Forms are available in the Office and at the back of the church. For more information contact the Parish Office at 613-722-7661.                    

      PARISH LIBRARY - The Library will be closed during the months of July and August. Volunteers will continue to prepare displays in the link lobby and materials may be taken out of the display for a period of two weeks - the procedure is explained on the shelves. There will be a box at the Church door for returns, but returns may also be made to the Church office. Please check at home to see if you or your children have any overdues and return them too. Thank you for your support.

      ST. VINCENT DE PAUL _ Our Britannia Food Bank is in great need of canned goods, etc. As always, thank you for your continued support.

       

      AN INVITATION TO HELP THE SHEPHERDS OF GOOD HOPE- If you can prepare and bring to church a loaf of any kind of uncut sandwiches on Wednesdays, before 9:30am. Info: Rosella Graham 722_4732.

       

      PASTORAL CARE - If you know of any shut_ins, sick or aged parishioners who are unable to come to the Church but would like a member of our Pastoral Team to bring them Holy Communion, or who would like a visit from the Priest for Reconciliation or the Sacrament of the Sick, please call the main office at 722_7661.

      TRANSPORTATION BUS SCHEDULES FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR: Thousands of Catholic school students across Ottawa will be heading back to class on September 7. Ottawa Catholic School Board bus schedules for the 2010-2011 school year are now available on the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority’s (OSTA) website www.ottawaschoolbus.ca or by calling the OSTA at 613-224-8800, extension 2580. Additionally, copies of high school bus schedules are now available at all high school locations. Elementary school schedules can be obtained at all elementary school locations as of August 30th.
