Administrative Assistant:  Permanent Part-time  – 2 Days per Week


Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Ottawa is seeking an Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Office Manager, two days per week (Mondays & Tuesdays) from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in a permanent part time position.  The incumbent should be familiar with office procedures, Microsoft Word, Excel, basic accounting and administrative functions and be personable and comfortable dealing with the public.  Weekly duties include email and correspondence, accounts payable, reception, parishioner inquiries, Mass entries, monthly deposits, preparation of weekly bulletin, registry entries, meeting room bookings, etc.  The ideal candidate should be computer literate, have a knowledge of a parish and its functions, have good interpersonal and organizational skills, be detail oriented, and be able to work independently and in a team environment.  Compensation is $23 - $24/hour, paid bi-weekly.  Please send a resume and cover letter to the Office Manager, Karen Bourgon at office@fatimaparish.ca or submit to Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 153 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa  K2A 3T8.  Please note only candidates who will be selected for an interview will be contacted.  No phone inquiries please.
